My dog, Hercules, and I

A Little Bit About Me!

Hi! My name is Julianna Belles and I am an New York City/ New Jersey based actor. I am current student of Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance and a minor in Creative Writing, and will be graduating in May of 2022!

When I was a kid, I remember my parents putting on the VHS tape of The Wizard of Oz and watching it on repeat, singing the songs, saying the lines, and dancing around with the Scarecrow and Tin Man during their respective numbers. It wasn’t until I turned seven that I started performing onstage in a production called How to Eat Like A Child that my love of theatre became something more and I knew it was what I always wanted to do.

Growing up, I worked closely with the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey, and dedicated myself to performance, volunteering with the Mayo Performing Arts Company and adopting their mission to giving back to the community through my work. There, I performed for nursing homes, hospitals and a number of different charitable fundraisers. Through this group, I also had the incredible opportunities of being able to perform with such Broadway performers and legends as Patti LuPone, Kristin Chenoweth , Aaron Tveit and more. I discovered my passion for teaching around this time as well, by working as an assistant on different classes at the theatre, working with children ages 4-16. I have since been pursuing my goal of becoming an audition coach for children and will be joining the staff of Stage Door Unlocked upon graduation in doing just that!

Aside from performing and teaching, I’m a huge nerd! I love video games like Pokémon, Undertale and Animal Crossing, and when I’m not performing, you can usually find me playing table top role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons (Druid main!) , organizing my massive dice collection, reading Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables for the twentieth time, or writing fiction or poetry at a local coffee shop or park!
